Timeless Gift Ideas for the Holiday Season and Beyond!

Let’s dive right into our list of timeless gift ideas featuring a few items from our shop for the upcoming holiday season and beyond!

Personalized Stationery

Listen, everybody needs a set of beautiful, personalized stationery for their thank you notes and spontaneous letter writing needs. A hand written note may just be the happiest thing in your mailbox, so let’s bring back a hand written note in the best way possible!

Tea Towels

Who doesn’t love a beautiful tea towel in their kitchen or bath?! A work of art in and of itself to display in the home. We love pairing ours with a wooden spoon for the kitchen or a loaf of homemade bread (or let your local bakery do the work)!

Scripture Cards

If you’ve been around here long enough, you know that I’m a big advocate of having scripture visible throughout our day. The impact it can have on our day by simply shifting our mindset to the Lord can be extraordinary with life long benefits. Why not give the Good News to your family, friends and neighbors too?

The Advent cards are the perfect early holiday gift. The set features scripture for each day in December to walk through the Advent season leading up to the birth of Jesus. I needed something to guide our family through December before the business of the holidays crept in. You can easily tuck a set of the scripture cards in with a tea towel for an extra special gift. I also love the idea of pairing the Advent scripture cards with a nativity set so the kids can play and get involved with the story.

Felt Nativity Scene - We can never have too many Nativities around the house! I picked up one similar to this recently and I also think it’s a good one for the kids to also enjoy.

Nativity Scene for kids - We’ve had this one for over 10 years and it’s perfect for the kids to play with

I love pairing the Original Series, Fruit of the Spirit, or Advent Series scripture cards with a 6” revere bowl. I’ve linked a few below, but do a quick search on Etsy and see what you can find. I have a revere bowl in my bathroom counter to keep bracelets and earrings of the day, and have my scripture cards tucked inside. I can easily flip through to change the card showing on top. Just an easy way to keep them together and visible.

The Light My Path scripture cards are a gift in and of themselves! The set comes with 12 scripture cards, one for each month of the year, and a custom box for giving. To display, you can choose either an acrylic block stand for a single card or a brass easel to display and keep the set together.

Satin ribbon - I use the 3/8” ribbon to tie a bow around the Light My Path scripture card box!

Silk Scarves

I LOVE wearing my silk scarf for two reasons: to give just about any outfit a pop of color and fun, and to keep me warm in the colder months. The Secret Garden, a floral inspired watercolor pattern, is featured on an exclusive, luxury silk scarf thoughtfully handcrafted in Italy. Our silk scarf is of the highest quality, incredibly soft and drapes beautifully.

It looks amazing on my sweet friend, Mycah!
