This painting is part of the Down Syndrome Day celebration on March 21st, as we bring awareness to and celebrate those with Down Syndrome and their gift to all of us. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this collection will benefit United Ability in Birmingham, AL, and organization that has greatly assisted our family and our son, David, who was born with Down Syndrome in 2018.

A little about the Butterflies and More Collection

I’m constantly drawn to bright, colorful scenes from nature. Whether it’s a butterfly fluttering past, or the simple yet colorful flowers I see on my neighborhood walks, God’s beauty is inspiring! I paint what I’m drawn to and with colors that fill my heart and soul with joy.

This collection is all about my favorite sightings in nature….butterflies (and winged creatures alike)! Butterflies always put a smile on my face and heart, they are wonderous and delicate creatures that inspire the most curious of artists. And, butterflies provide a beautiful, visual picture of the spiritual transformation of our life in Christ.

I hope you enjoy spotting each whimsical watercolor butterfly and winged creature in the collection.
