Over time, I’ve gathered a handful of passages that consistently encourage my heart. These are verses I’ve written down, kept close, and often revisited.

1. Isaiah 26:3
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
This verse is such a gentle reminder that peace isn’t something we manufacture—it’s something God gives as we turn our thoughts toward Him.

2. Philippians 4:6
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
This passage is one I return to whenever anxiety starts to creep in. It’s both an invitation and a reminder: bring everything to God.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Simple, honest, and deeply comforting. It’s a verse that reminds us we don’t have to pretend we aren’t afraid, we can simply place that fear in God’s hands.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
This verse beautifully captures how scripture guides us step by step, especially when the path ahead feels unclear.

Keeping Encouraging Verses Close
One of the simplest ways I’ve found to revisit these passages throughout the day is by keeping scripture cards nearby on a desk, a bedside table, or tucked into a journal.
