12 Bible Verses for Encouragement to Return to Again and Again

There are certain Bible verses I find myself returning to again and again.

Sometimes it’s during a difficult season. Other times it’s simply a morning when I need to reset my perspective before the day begins. A single verse, read slowly, can bring a surprising amount of peace and clarity.

Over time, I’ve gathered a handful of passages that consistently encourage my heart. These are verses I’ve written down, kept close, and often revisited.

Here are 12 Bible verses for encouragement that I love coming back to.

1. Isaiah 26:3

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”

This verse is such a gentle reminder that peace isn’t something we manufacture—it’s something God gives as we turn our thoughts toward Him.

Keeping Encouraging Verses Close

One of the simplest ways I’ve found to revisit these passages throughout the day is by keeping scripture cards nearby on a desk, a bedside table, or tucked into a journal.

Seeing a verse in passing often brings just the reminder I need in that moment.
